The design pays tribute to a selection of the cars Vandoorne has raced during his career so far
To commemorate his first home Grand Prix, Stoffel Vandoorne is using a special one-off helmet design this weekend.
It features a lot more white than his usual lid, but that’s not the cool part. Oh no - that’d be the pop art style drawings of some of the cars he’s raced on his way up to F1.
Included in the design is one of his go-karts, as well as cars from his time in Formula 4, Formula Renault 2.0 and 3.5, and GP2.
Oh yeah, and of course there’s his current ride, the McLaren-Honda MCL32 (plumes of smoke not pictured).
Pretty neat, huh?
