Yesterday the FIA announced that F1 cars will be fitted with the Halo cockpit protection device for 2018 and it’s fair to say that the news didn’t go down particularly well with fans.
While safety is of huge importance in F1, whatever your opinion on cockpit protection, we all seem to agree that the Halo is just a damn ugly solution.
