A driver’s helmet design used to be a sort of signature that stayed with them throughout their career, but when Sebastian Vettel started changing his design every time there was a week in the month that kinda went out of the window. FIA rules now mean that drivers can only change their helmet design once a season (theoretically), but year-on-year they can change them, something that Kimi Raikkonen has done.
The Red Bull boys have now shown off their new helmets; Max has gone for a bit of a change…
…whilst Daniel has kept his largely the same. Although with the opening race being his home race, he’s also gone a bit ‘Straya’ with it.
