Any good racing game worth its salt these days has a replay mode full of cinematic camera angles letting you watch back your perfect lap or multi-car pileup.
Whilst it’s best to stick to the cockpit view or T-Cam for when you’re playing the game, I’m sure we’ve all tried having a go at navigating the track using the track-side camera or a high-up helicam. I know I have, and it’s near enough impossible.
So how about trying that for real? Well presenter and walking knowledge fountain Tom Scott has done just that, riding shotgun with 2 drivers who have nothing but a pair of video goggles and a remote controlled filming drone to guide them and their Mazda MX5 around an obstacle course. There’s no rewind button here!
