Williams is currently set to be the first team to unveil its 2018 car with a launch on 15 February and if the last four seasons are anything to go by, it’ll have a smart – if slightly boring – Martini livery.
Don’t get me wrong, I love a good Martini livery. It’s one of the iconic motorsport sponsors and it’s pretty much impossible for a car with a Martini colour scheme to look bad. But after four years of essentially the same design, it’d be nice if Williams switched it up and went with something a bit different for 2018 – something like this, perhaps?
Graphic designer Daniel Crossman has had a go at reworking the Martini colour scheme and come up with this superb ‘digital’ concept. It’s funny how just a few slight adjustments can refresh a simple design; Williams should absolutely take note.
