Wheel-to-wheel contact in single-seaters can sometimes result in one of the cars flipping over, but this is just bizarre. During a round of the Danish F4 Championship (yep, that’s a thing, apparently!) at the Jyllandsringen, driver Malthe Jakobsen was hit by his teammate.
That put him onto two wheels, but before rolling over his car somehow slid sideways on two wheels, almost like there was some sort of invisible forcefield preventing the car from rolling. Then came the gravel, the wheels dug in and the car flipped before landing safely before the barriers – and with remarkably little damage.
