Pit stops can be one of the most important parts of the grand prix for any driver, but watching them can sometimes be a bit of a blur. In as little as two seconds the driver has stopped, had their tyres changes and left again – all before you’ve barely had time to register that a pit stop is even happening.
But what goes into a pit stop? What’s the job of each person in that cluster of people? This incredibly informative video from Driver 61 takes a look at just that, from the guys changing the wheels, to the person whose sole job is to watch for other cars coming down the pitlane.
