This Is Why You Don't Tow A Broken Car Across A Live Race Track

There was a serious near miss in a Porsche Carrera Cup race at Zandvoort as a course vehicle tried to tow a car across the circuit

You’d have thought pretty much every motorsport championship would have learned by now that you don’t send course vehicles onto the circuit unless the race has been neutralised. Apparently not.

Following some first lap shenanigans at Zandvoort, a tow truck was pulling a stricken car off the circuit when another car arrived on the scene - at full speed.

Yeah, if that car had arrived a couple of seconds earlier or a touch later that could have been a whole lot worse.
