There was a dramatic crash in the Uruguay Superturismo championship when driver José Luis Matos made contact with another car at the start.
Normally that’s par for the course in tin-tops, but unfortunately for Matos it was wheel-to-wheel contact. That sent his Peugeot 208 bouncing dramatically down the road, shedding all sorts of body parts on the way.
Although it took a while to get Matos out, after a trip to the medical centre he was deemed completely fine. His car on the other hand…
