Some F1 drivers tweet A LOT but never before have we seen a tweet from the cockpit in a race. That’s what NASCAR driver Brad Keselowski did during the famous Daytona 500 race. He tweeted this image above of his view of a fire during a red flag period.
The tweet went viral and gained him a massive 100,000 followers that night, better still, he was even replying to his fans! He later crashed out the race, hopefully it wasn’t due to tweeting and driving.

Keselowski tweeted during a stoppage for a bizarre crash involving ex-F1 star Juan Pablo Montoya who lost control and crashed into a safety vehicle. Video below.
