This Argentinian touring car incident looked like something from the open lobby of a racing game…
ACTC is an old and established touring car championship in Argentina, but the series still features some hilariously bad racing – as this incident proves.
During race two of the ACTC (TCP) series at the Autódromo Juan y Oscar Gálvez, two drivers towards the back of the pack collided on the entry to a tight corner.
One of them was running half on the grass at the time, so it almost looked like a disaster waiting to happen.
Fairly minor contact pitched them both off and onto the grass, where they cut the corner and slammed into two rivals.
It looked just like the kind of thing you’d see in an F1 game open lobby, when the two cars appear to get stuck together somehow and from there, you’re a passenger.
