It’s not often you see two cars crashing into each other during a practice session, but that’s exactly what happened at the Monaco ePrix.
In the closing stages of first practice, Mahindra driver Rosenqvist seemed to get caught off guard by Turvey’s slowing NextEV NIO machine.
RED FLAG! Big impact as @FRosenqvist runs over the back of @OliverTurvey. Both drivers fine, but lots of debris #MonacoePrix pic.twitter.com/Q2Bm3xyfPF

He slammed into the back of Turvey’s car at the Turn 3 hairpin, where the Formula E track returns to the old Formula 1 layout.
Rosenqvist’s Mahindra was launched onto two wheels as it climbed over the top of Turvey’s rear wheels, with the session being red flagged due to the amount of debris.
Not the best start to a Formula E round for both drivers…
