Two LMP1 Cars Collided In The Opening Seconds Of Le Mans

As the 2018 Le Mans 24 Hours got underway, Andre Lotterer in the No.1 Rebellion had a bit of a go at passing the No.8 Toyota into the first corner. Instead, he just ended up making a bit of contact and damaging the nose. Then, when he got to the braking zone for the Dunlop chicane the nose flew off, tipping the No.31 DragonSpeed car into a spin.

That then led to the amusing sight of Lotterer racing back around to the pits with no front end.

Still, at least they’ve got 24 hours to make it up…
