Seagulls, lizards, marshals… what next? An umbrella apparently. That was the latest thing to make its way onto an F1 circuit when it blew onto the track during Free Practice 3 for the Brazilian Grand Prix.
Stuff we have seen on track in 2016:
– giant lizards 🐊
– running marshals 🏃And now a flying umbrella… 🌂 pic.twitter.com/g6lY36Ll09

It was a quick clear up job though when a brave marshal managed to run onto the track to get it and thankfully, unlike in Singapore, he wasn’t there when any cars were coming.
Quickest man in FP3 so far?

So an umbrella on the race track isn’t particularly exciting but an umbrella does suggest rain, and rain has been falling this weekend.
We all know how exciting races can be when it rains at Interlagos, especially when the title is still up for grabs…
