Here’s what happens when you merge the awesome tin-top V8 Supercars series with an airline’s flight safety video.
The V8 Supercars series over in Australia picked up a new title sponsor in airline Virgin Australia earlier in the year.
Thankfully the partnership has been put to good use through a new flight safety video that’s actually being shown on the airline’s planes.
It certainly makes for an entertaining watch and is a good way of getting people interested in the flight safety instructions.
Because we can all admit to switch off a little when the cabin crew start demonstrating how to put on seat belts and reminding us to put our devices on flight mode. However, this safety video will certainly catch our attention.
It sees six-time Supercars champion Jamie Whincup try to lap the famous Mount Panorama circuit (with a Virgin pilot in the passenger seat of his Holden Commodore) quicker than the cabin crew’s safety demonstration. It also features cameos from a few other Supercars racers too.
Please can we have flight safety videos like this on every airline!
