It was a strange end to the Malaysian Grand Prix as Sebastian Vettel and Lance Stroll collided after the chequered flag
Sebastian Vettel started dead last in the Malaysian Grand Prix but put in an incredible drive to finish fourth and keep his title hopes alive.
But when the chequered flag fell and the Ferrari driver was awarded driver of the day for his efforts, the camera then cut to Vettel with no rear wing and his left rear wheel hanging off.
The replay showed Vettel colliding with the Williams of Lance Stroll while both of them were meant to just be cruising back to the pits.
Whose fault was it? We’ll let you decide…
Either way it could be bad news for Vettel as his gearbox will no doubt need replacing for Suzuka now, which’ll mean a five place grid penalty.
