Watch Bottas Drive An F1 Car On Italian Roads

Awarded in honour of the former Ferrari F1 driver who lost his life at Monaco in 1967, the Lorenzo Bandini Trophy is awarded each year to a driver (or team) who has made a breakthrough in the world of motorsport. Bottas won the award this year off the back of his first poles and wins in F1 last year.

As part of the ceremony, he got behind the wheel of the 2016 championship-winning W07 and drove 13km on public roads in Italy from Faenza, all the way to Bandini’s hometown of Brisighella. It looks damn awesome – it’s just a shame about the police escort…
