The Red Bull drivers get to do some pretty interesting things ahead of races, like in Singapore when they were tasked with smashing open a Durian fruit. In the run up to this weekends race in Austin, Max Verstappen and Daniel Ricciardo got to indulge in something slightly less stinky when they tried the countries most popular sport – American Football.
The pair went to train with the Del Valle Cardinals, and whilst Ricciardo seems fairly at home (not surprising given that Rugby and Aussie rules football are massive in Australia), Max seems a little more awkward with what he hilariously calls the “egg-shaped ball”.
