Sebastian Vettel put in some Pirelli tyre testing last week at the Fiorano Circuit, here’s great footage of him in action before it all went wrong.
We all know what happened to Vettel on day one of Ferrari’s Pirelli wet tyre test at Fiorano – he binned it into the wall.
But, before that, he’d been putting in some good work trying out the new range of Pirelli tyres and YouTuber Italiansupercarvideo caught some awesome footage of him in action.
The conditions certainly look tricky in the wet and Vettel seemed to be pushing pretty hard to see how the new tyres perform.
He was driving a 2015 mule car, featuring a special rear wing with curved endplates – like we’ll see on the new F1 2017 cars, and got a glimpse of on the official Williams FW40 renders.

Unfortunately, because of his crash into the wall, Ferrari was forced to pull out of the second day of Pirelli tyre testing.
Last year’s GP2 runner-up and current Ferrari third driver Antonio Giovinazzi had been set to take part in the test, but – obviously – was unable to.
But, on the positive side of things, we still got some great footage of Vettel in action before the day went downhill.
