Russian Grand Prix winner Valtteri Bottas travelled straight from Sochi to a demo in Budapest city centre
Mercedes driver Bottas didn’t have long to celebrate his Sochi victory as it was straight back to work with a demo run at Nagy Futam 2017.
The Finn brought the sound and speed of F1 machinery, as well as awesome donuts and smoky burnouts, to thousands of fans in Budapest city centre.
Blasting down the streets of the stunning Hungarian capital city, Bottas reached speeds of up to 155mph in the Mercedes W05 Hybrid from the 2014 season.
He even managed to give a few cheeky waves to the crowds as he powered down the straights.
The fans certainly seemed to enjoy it and we loved watching six minutes of epic onboard footage from it – city centre demos really are a brilliant way of bringing people closer to F1.
