There we have it; the final seat of 2023 is confirmed as Logan Sargeant has earned himself enough superlicence points to race for Williams next year.
OK, so this announcement has us all *pretends to be shocked* GIF, but it’s still good to see Williams properly confirm the news now that the F2 championship is over for another season and Sargeant has got the necessary superlicence points he needed.
Welcome to @F1, @LoganSargeant 👋

Logan, who will be the first American in F1 since 2015, called the opportunity a “dream come true” and will make his F1 race debut at the 2023 Bahrain Grand Prix next March.
He’ll partner Alex Albon, after Nicholas Latifi’s contract was not renewed after three seasons with the team.
Are you happy to see Logan set the seat? Let us know in the comments.
