So it may not be as iconic as the likes of the FW14 and FW14B but there’s no doubting this Williams FW13B is one great looking Formula One car, as is the case with most early 90’s F1 racers.
This 1990 Williams will be sold to one lucky bidder at the Bonhams auction at this year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed, with the car expected to go for somewhere between £90,000 – £120,000, so about the price of an Aston Martin V8 Vantage.
The good news is it’s been with Williams since it stopped racing, so you’d expect it to be in damn good condition.
The bad news is it has key components missing from it’s Renault V10 engine. So it won’t be an easy fix if you’re expecting to put some miles on it.
This particular car was used by both Thierry Boutsen and Riccardo Patrese throughout the year and scored its best result at the 1990 Phoenix Grand Prix (yeah, that one with Senna and Alesi) finishing third.
