Guenther Steiner is releasing a behind-the-scenes book into Haas’ 2022 season. It gets better – you can now get signed copies! We tried to grab one, but that particular shipment must have sold out. Nothing more painful than getting a message pop up to say it’s now unavailable whilst you enter your card details 😭
But after scouring the internet, it looks like some are still available elsewhere 🙌
If there’s any team boss I’d listen to an entire account of the F1 season from, it’s Guenther. And although you might not get a signed version, standard copies are still available to pre-order now for release on the 20th of April.

He’s already captured the hearts of many with his scene-stealing moments during Netflix’s Drive To Survive, but now, he’ll be the star of his own book, which is quite humorously called ‘Surviving to Drive’.
The description of the book says it’s “packed full of twists and turns, from hiring and firing drivers, balancing books, pre-season preparations, the design, launch and testing of a car – and of course, the race calendar itself”.
It claims “this is the first time that an F1 team has allowed an acting team principal to tell the full story of a whole season”.
The book promises to be “uncompromising and searingly honest”, which, if you’ve watched more than two minutes of any Guenther Steiner content, you can 100% believe.
After a rollercoaster 2022 season for the team, I don’t think he could’ve chosen a better year to document.
